
A New Chapter
It’s a bittersweet moment for us here at HouseParti.
Like many businesses across the UK, we’ve been navigating a particularly tough and unpredictable economic climate. Rising costs, shifting consumer behavior, and an ever-changing market have all played a part in shaping how we move forward. In times like these, adapting and streamlining are not just smart—they’re essential.
So, after careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to move our website operations from HouseParti over to our sister brand, Love Partying.
(This will happen after we close this Friday 11th July).
This isn’t a goodbye to HouseParti. The brand will still remain very much a part of our wider business. But for now, it’s being gently parked while we consolidate our efforts and focus on building a stronger, more agile offering under the Love Partying name. We’re hopeful that in time, when conditions are right, we’ll be able to revisit HouseParti with a fresh perspective and renewed energy.
Why the Change?
Over the past few years, the balloon and party industry has gone through some dramatic shifts. You’ve probably noticed it too—there’s been a wave of new latex balloon brands entering the market. Names like Kalisan, Prima, Globos, Payaso, and Balonevi have all emerged with extensive colour ranges, size options, and production quality and styles. At the same time, some longstanding brands have disappeared or changed hands, shaking up supply chains and availability across the board.
And that’s just the balloon side of things.
The fancy dress and party sector has seen its own changes, especially when it comes to licensed products. From sudden range updates to distribution shakeups, at times it’s felt like a full-time job just trying to keep up. Smiffys went into administration, then reimerged as Smiffys 2, joined Rubies changed it's distribution, Amscan went under and never really came back, Procos brought out a whole range of new products, the list is endless. Some of these changes have been exciting, others frustrating—but all of them have required us to stay nimble and responsive.
All of this has led us to a place where running two separate websites, with overlapping categories and customer bases, just doesn’t make sense in the current climate. By combining our operations under Love Partying, we can simplify things behind the scenes, reduce overheads, and ultimately offer a better experience for our customers.
What This Means for You
We know change can bring questions, so here’s what you need to know:

All customer accounts, logins, and order history will remain unaffected.

Pricing will stay the same, and you’ll continue to receive the same great service and product range you’re used to.

The website will still feel very familiar—just under a new name.

Our social media handles are also being updated to reflect the change to Love Partying, so keep an eye out and be sure to follow us on our new profiles.
Looking Ahead
We want to reassure our customers and followers that HouseParti is still close to our hearts. It's simply taking a back seat for now, allowing us to focus on doing what we do best—bringing colour, creativity, and joy to your parties—through a single, united platform.
As always, we remain committed to keeping an eye on market conditions and trends. The party world never stands still, and neither do we. So, while this is a moment of change, it’s also one of optimism.
